1999. Another year. Another fun Mini run from Crystal Palace Park down to Brighton Sea front with my friends and their Minis, plus at least another couple of thousand Minis. This year was my 4th year on the London to Brighton Run. But only my second year driving. New to this years run was my present Mini, which shall, until it gets a respray at least be called Goldie. I'm pleased to say Goldie made it to Brighton and back with no major problems. Just a hiccup on the M23, probably caused by dirt in the fuel, and a bit of smoke in the traffic jam in Brighton Town centre caused by the worm valve stem oil seals. |
